It is typical...4th gens are notorious for developing rattles and squeaks. It's what happens when the car is approaching 14 years old. I have the occasional squeak and rattle. They just seem to come and go and I really don't pay much attention to them.

You could always start tracking them down, holding parts to see ifthe rattle goes away, of course this is a neverending job as they always develope new rattles, at least mine does.My glove box started to rattle on my last road trip...MAN is that annoying.

I say go around the car and strip the interior. Then put it back together, but around all the edges of all the plastic pieces, add a strip of felt tape.

My license plate used to rattle a bunch, but I put some foam behind it, problem solved.

My hatch door rattles like a bitch, when i make the ruber stoppers all the way out, or even a lil out, they make the hatch door squeek, and if i put it down, it makes the hatch rattle like it isnt closed, and i put it in the middle somewhere and i get a squeeky rattle and its worse!! AHHH, how can i solve this?
