Ive heard you can handle a shot of nos equal to %40-50 of your total horsepower. I dont have any experience with it, but i think you should be fine with a 50 shot on that car.

I don't really know the strength of stock Integra motors, but I'd say anything more than a 50 shot is pushing it. You should be ok with that though, IF you don't do anything stupid. Make sure you take the proper precautions and install the right safety devices.

i would advise him not to get nos at all. if his car is stock then hes not a racer. you cant just shoot nos whenever you feel like it. there a whole bunch of precautions like self said. its like fast and the furious, amaturs dont use nitrous oxide. damn thats the first thing that i would have to agree on with fast and the furious, everythingelse is jsut bs.

i think since hes not a racer, hell shoot wherever he drive, which will cause him to blow a motor. if his car is stock, so hes not a racer, then why is he getting nos ? oh hes a all talk guy, yeah i got nos, ha ha. just for show

nitrous is the cheapest way to get some horses. it not like you can drive around town spraying all the time, since you get like 8 1/4 passes off a 10 lb bottle.... I say go for it, your motor will be fine if your not an idiot. So dont spray under 2500 rpm, make sure your at full throttle and you fuel system can flow for the extra horses. Maybe get colder plugs, etc.

we just talk alot of shit to eachother at work. he always wanted to race me, but he kept saying, wait till i get my integra. and he's gettin nos cause a friend of his is selling his teg and has to put it back to stock.
im not sure if i should tell him not to, or just let him live and learn. he wants speed, but doesnt know much about fixing it up. like freedom said, you should gett colder plugs, run a higher octane and of course only spray at wot. but i guess ill find out what happens if hes walking to work in a couple weeks

Be sure to let me know if he end up walking haha. I was considering getting a 50 shot to hold me over until i get enough for turbo/supercharger... but ill prob wait, not worth spending $500 on nos when it could just go towards turbo. I saw an artivle once about a 2000 civic they hooked up with a 50 shot. Completely stock, ran through like 20 10lb bottles, and the internals still met new part requirments. Ive been searching for the article, but i can never seem to find it. It was probably written by some guys at NOS anyways so we'd buy their stuff haha

you can make like 15passes with a 50 shot 10lbs bottle. i just find that people who know how to work on cars, seem to know more about the parts on there car, when to use and not use stuff. guys who have mommy buy or have a shop install there intake or nos just dont know, its hard to explain, they just dont know.

make sure he doesnt shot on an incline because the uphill stress will cause his motor to break, never shoot more than 16 seconds, only at wide open throttle, neve below 3000rpm, premium gas, do a full tune up like spark plug wires, spark plugs, new rotor, distributor cap, dotn shoot while shifting
