WIP Ferrari 550 & 575M

These 4 models are from Fujimi and I had started it before I left for UK last year. Never had the time to start again until after CNY. Studio 27 aftermarket products were used for all models. I had a few problem with the silver and had to sand and resprayed it twice. It would be another week or so before I can finish it. I think it is sort of a rush rush job. I am trying to finish it as soon as possible so that I can start on all my Tamiya kits. Tamiya Com. is somewhere in the middle of the year mah!
So enjoy and comment!

You've got a miniature factory with a level of quality level worthy of the real one going on there!!!

Thanks for sharing with us,

Re: WIP Ferrari 550 & 575M

Wow, looks like in Maranello where the original 550/575 was built ;-))

Looks very clean, well done so far, maybe some decent washes could have deepened the 3D-effect on the interior parts.

What are you using to hold the bupers on the sticks? Tape? Blu Tack? Nice! I like how organized you keep everything. Do you put the cars in containers and label them so they can dry?

Re: WIP Ferrari 550 & 575M

Thank you all for your kind compliments and suggestion.

Sportracer,
I guess I like building the car clean like showroom condition. I know washing would bring it to a better details interior but I really do not know how to wash them and besides I am afraid I might spoil it. Might need some tips to do some washing.

AllAlone,
Basically the sticks I used are spare sprus from the kits. I cut them to a curtain lenght and at one end cut it flat and the other a sharp end so that I can stick them onto the foam. To stick them to the part, I just burn the flat end until it melts and just before it cools or harden I stick them to the parts. To remove it I just click it to and angle from the stick and it will come off.

I really hope you'all enjoyed the pics.

Cheers!
