Chevy Camaro 68

Bought this today. Quick dry fit on Prowler rims, waiting for the chrome dub rims to arrive. Will probably paint it black or maybe some dark red color, or maybe blue if I dont wanna buy a new can of paint.

Gonna put some styrene sheet in that hole in the hood, I dont want some supercharger pointing up.

To wing, or not to wing?

C&C please.

Re: Chevy Camaro 68

NO WING.

It's so nice and refreshing to see a 1st gen f-body with a nice smooth trunk.

Not sure I'm gonna enjoy the wheels you're planning, but that's certainly personal preference. Personally I like those ones.

Re: Chevy Camaro 68

for once a model without some huge a$$ blower popping out of the hood! not that its bad or anything just something new would help once in a while. i can't wait to see this with paint and all

The rims I have ordered, I will probably remove the chrome and spray them in a chrome or possibly aluminum color.

Re: Chevy Camaro 68

Personally I like the wing. The wheels you ordered will look awsome on this kit. I did a 69 in black and dark metalic red, here it is to give you an idea of how it will look.

I'm looking forward to seeing your progress.

Re: Chevy Camaro 68

That´s sweet! Too bad the Camaro is so small, I might have to modify the wheel houses.

Re: Chevy Camaro 68

yeah, with those wheels, no wing, no blower, MAYBE a SMALL cowl induction hood, or one similar to the elenor hood. dechrome everything or just go without bumpers at all. drop the rocker panels about 3 inches with side exit exhaust, custom 4 link rear end, mustang II IFS, and a big fat cyntrifugal blower on a 396/454.

that's my idea of a bad ass pro touring camaro, but I'm sure you'll come up with something outstanding aswell.

oh, and the prowler wheels look great on there too.
