Worst movies you've ever seen

OK we’ve got a thread about favourite movies, so what about the worst ones you’ve ever seen?

For me, it would have to be:

The Abyss (fell asleep in it )
The Truman Show
Three Kings (didn’t even bother watching the whole thing)
D-tox (with Sylvester Stallone)
Windtalkers

Only two movies that I ever walked out of because they were so horrific

The Gods Must Be Crazy & Highlander 2

I am very disappointed. The Abyss and The Gods Must Be Crazy? Shocking. Two of my favorite movies! Love both of 'em.

Well, I can't even think of a movie I don't like right now, I think I have to try to get my jaw up off the floor. A little scared to see what other movies people don't like

Collateral Damage (what an absolute crock of @#$%) - it did send me sleep from Hong Kong to Auckland though...
Surf Nazis Must Die
Plan 9 from Outer Space

The only movie I've really been revulsed with though was:
The Baby of Macon

The Truman show is one of the most deeply insightful pieces of modern satire available. It speaks volumes about media, manipulation and product placement. I couldn't disagree more, Spec2.

The worst move I have ever seen is GUEST HOUSE PARADISO!!

I just hated the whole concept of the movie. His whole life was a lie and he was the only one that didn’t know. I found that way too horrible.

Lol :hehehe:

I have to say Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. It was all in Chinese, and you could see the strings holding the people up whilst they completely unrealistically airwalked.....

The concept was to make the audience aware that they are being that manipulated EVERY day. The whole way he had no idea he was even being manipulated and it seemed to the audience that he had no control over his own life - and your reaction to it - is exactly what Peter Weir was aiming for. The whole reason being that we a re manipulated like that every day. The scene with his best friend after golf where Truman speaks of his conspiracy theory and his friend tells him he would have to be in on it too then cuts to Christof speaking to him the lines is meant to say LOOK, YOU GOT SUCKED IN TOO!

It was probably a very good movie and had a very good point, but it just made me so angry. I nearly left half way through it affected me that badly. I'm not saying that it was badly made, just that it was one of the worst I've seen for me. I just didn't enjoy it at all. Found it way too depressing.

City of Angels is another one I just thought of. Whoever wrote the ending to that was really sadistic!

At least it provoked a strong reaction - exactly it's intention.
