Re: Source for diagnostic trouble codes?

What years? OBD1 or 2?

OBD 2 codes are universal. They apply to all manufacturers. There are additional codes that some manufacturers add in, but they're not usually related to diagnostics. I got a "P" code on mine causing me to fail smog, and the code was for a dashboard light malfunction. The dummy light for the windshield washer fluid level had burnt out and made me fail smog. True story.

I found a good list of generic trouble codes at http://www.trouble-codes.com, but need a list of P1 codes for all makes and models.
What code description do you need? Make, Model, and Year. The info you seek is not easy to find in a list form on the internet.
