T'was a good day in the life of Heep.

We're gearing up for the college autoshow (which starts tomorrow), so all the cars have been arriving yesterday and today. Since I'm second year now, I know a lot of people that can give me rides

So...I've ridden in an Audi TT, S8, Jag XKR, XJR, Volvo C70 cabrio, new Range Rover, Mercury Marauder. And since I'm co-captain of team MINI, I've driven 3 new MINI's including one Cooper S, which handles like a dream

After all this, all the second years in the automotive program and I all went to the bar for free food and free drinks, so all in all, t'was a good day in the life of Heep

Excellent dude - did you get a drive in the Supercharged 6 speed MINI Cooper S? One of my friends had to buy (had to - sounds it was something onerous) one to give away as part of a competition that he was organising. I think we did a good job of scrubbing all that excess rubber off the new tires.

Have a good weekend at the show

I didn't get a drive in one, I DROVE one They hold the road SOOO well, in fact, they outrun any current Porsche or Ferrari in the slalom. I took a tight traffic circle in one today at 55 mph, and the tires were silent, not even the slightest howl...the car wasn't even trying and had way more to go.

There's "my baby" in the middle

I've driven the other 2 as well.

I didn't go a for a nice ride in it, just moving it a few hundred feet, but it sounds and rides great. The wheels are incredible. It's actually not a low, rumbly V8, it's more high strung, very powerful and racy sounding.

I don't like you anymore, King.

But does the Queen get to drive all the goodies too???

Sounds like an awesome day. I had a good night last night. Daddy let his baby girl take out his new 2k2 Honda Interceptor :flash: :flash: Baby girl had a GOOD time with REAL power... except when her rain gear went flying off and her bungee net almost got caught in the rear wheel. :o
