Ok, according to the factory service manual you pull the fuel pump fuse, start the engine, and wait for it to die. Does that sound like a safe method for releasing the fuel pressure?

Or...leave it set over night and the pressure goes away on its own. Have changed mine four times and never had to relieve the pressure.

yah, mine too; didn't release the pressure when i change it. i think u'll be okay.

juz changed the motor still using an old gas filter about 3 months old u think if i change it will i get better gas milage
