Smile Ordered 2003 330 Conv

I must admit, didn't think I would do it, but I did. I had a 67' Camaro Conv that I had since High School. I restored it a couple of years ago and got more for it than I thought. I put that towards the 2003 330 Conv and it's being built the week of Oct 11. As you would expect, I am extremely excited. I drove the 325 and 330 and I loved the extra power of the 330. The 330 is set up as follows: Jet Back, Sand Interior,
Steptronic, Sports Package, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Xeron Lights and Park Distance Control. With my Camaro I was used to putting down the top in a very manual fashion, with the 330, you can be standing outside the locked car and put the top down with the remote key device. Now how sweet is that....

I'm planning an order in the next few months for spring delivery of 2003 330CIC manual, sport, xenon, heated seats. What can I expect to pay below MSRP. Any advice?

Congrats ! ;-)
About putting down the hood with the remote-key: I´ve just a device at ebay´s for about 280 Euro which allows you to do the same thing with an "old" CIc (E-46). I´m planning to visit my dealer tommorow/weekend to ask him about that. He told me as i ordered the car that it´s NOT allowed to do control the hood with the key (Up & down) becourse you could accidentally activate the hood while driving (What a crap !). Maybe we here in Europe have other restrictions than you people in the US ?

The best I could due was about 1500 under msrp after querying about 6 dealers. many dealers won't budge but you may be able to do a little better if your patient and agressive.
good luck..

I took delivery of my loaded 2002 330 cic in April. Bought the car in Jan. Dealer was $1800 under sticker and he did a trade thru on my 911 which saved me $2ooo in sales tax. The 330 is a very popular car but nobody has the markup on new cars like BMW so remind the dealers about the economy and shop around.
