Angry escort quit

While entering the freeway my 91 escortlx just quit. I had it towed home and changed the fuel filter, fuel pump, and fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pump was making a wierd noise was why i replaced it. The car still will not start. I replaced the timming belt 28000 miles ago. I was wondering if there was a way to check the module. The car seems to have weak spark.

thanks
