Question 2000 Honda Civic EX

Hello,

I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX, and Ive been trying to think of different ways to create a car with lots of power, but at the same time, keep good gas mileage...

My idea so far, has been to put in a H22A motor... Im not too sure anymore if I want to put that motor in, does anybody know any other good motors that would be good to add parts to and could get me to be running 12's and 13's on the 1/4 mile??? if anyone knows, please help...

Jeremy

Are you going all motor or booost.

I personally like all motor vehicles!

I think for the money I would start with a B18C1 (GSR) Swap (obd2)! You can probaly find one for about $3000 to $3500.

Add maybe an LSD tranny (Type-R Tranny).

Bolt on's of coarse.....CAI, Headers, Hi Flow Cat, Catback, Cam Gears, Upgrade your ignition system, Fuel System, Maybe do a mild port and polish on your throttle body & head. Slap on a JG Edelbrock manifold. Lightend flywheel and upgraded clutch! That might get you in the 14's after you lighten the load up (ie seats, spare, any stereo equiptment yada yada) and maybe on some slicks. Oh and get it tuned of coarse!

To reach 13's or even 12's you need to add a few internals and do some extreme port and polishing.

or you can always just slap a 100 shot of N2O (which I don't recommend...cheap HP)to all the above and you should be rockin!

Anyways good luck!
