Question 94 Land Rover Defender Catalytic Converter?

Concerning 1994 Land Rover Defender 90:
Does anyone have any experience in replacing a factory catalytic converter to an after market high performance model? Will this have any consequences as to engine life? I plan on doing just that as well as adding a Borla Cat Back exhaust system. I appreciate any knowledge on this subject.

Re: 94 Land Rover Defender Catalytic Converter?

As far as I can tell Grey, you won't have any problems with engine life (it may prolong the engine life however cause it can breathe better). As for the borla catback, it is the way to go as far as Rovers are concerned. I do know the cats are pricey though,
Let me know how you get on.
