A friend of mine has a BMW E21 with a 745i turbo engine underhood.
since he is totally nuts, he raised the boost from 0.5bar stock to 1.2bar. he got an adjustable FPR from a Lancia Delta HF intergral, and he is using the 745i stock IC, the ECU is 012, I guess coz the rev limiter on the 013 is at 5500RPM while the 012 revs till 6500RPM. as expected with such boost and stock injectors the car is running so lean and even is cracking cylinder head at the exhaust valve from 2nd to 5th combustion chamber. and the sparks are white in color "that is how lean its running". anyway we got a piggyback system from perfectpower www.perfectpower.com its the SMT5-I model, it controls ignition timing, fueling and extra injectors. but to make it work on the bimmer some data must be entered in a specific screen on the SMT software. and this is where I need ur help, I would really appreciate if u can provide me with that, and I am trully thankfull for any help and for ur time and effort. 1- do u know how many teeth per turn "including missing teeth if any"? 2- how many teeth per firing.? 3- the MAF sensor what is the max and min. voltage that it reads? 4- does it have missing teeth and is it 1 or 2 missing teeth if any? 5- ignition input polarity, is it positive or negative? what about output polarity? 6- does it have Bipolar (magnetic) input? thanx. |
