Cool Long live the Muffin Shooter

Well, after being under my DX for about 2 years, then under my Si for about 2 years, and surving multiple hits and bottom outs, my beloved rear section focuz exhaust (aka the muffin shooter) finally came off for good tonight. If anyone is interested locally (western PA or related area) i might get rid of it for 75 bucks but its sorta beat after all this time. I might sell the muffler to one of my friends for use on a custom project and keep the famous 4' tip as a momento hehe. Still, despite its size and huge tip, it was the best sounding exhaust i've still ever heard and so many people agreed. It will be missed...

ON THE GOOD SIDE. After, oh I dunno 2 years of wanting this, I got my thermal cat back exhaust on tonight complete with new catalic converter since the old one was dead. Sound is pretty typical but good none the less even though its still buring in. I also got 2 inches of ground clearance back thank the lord. The power output is amazing for just a catback. When i got my 4-1 header i gained topend but the low end seemed to lack and at times act funny. Now all over the power band there seems to be new power. Down low the car can pull itself again and up top well the A6 will just bury the needle it the red in a hurry though 1st and 2nd gears....great for autocrossing I seriously think was old cat was clogged after 160k on it, some of the power i'm feeling could be just power i gained back not earned. But it runs good now so i'm happy, just gotta take it racing and see how I do with the extra kick. if i can i'll post pics of both of them if i can get ahold of the didgy cam from a friend hehe.

Man that was a big rant hehe
