SilverLotus, I have the same kit from about 1996 with the BRE racing scheme. I assume you got the new one that was re-released this year without the decals? I think its the Tuner series from Revell? Well mine came with the Kidney bean shaped spokes in the rims. Those didn't fit too well either when I test fitted them, but you can use small amounts of vinyl electrical tape around the rim so when you fit the tire it has some resistance to stay put. Don't use too much tape, otherwise you'll leave a noticable gap.
For your wheel mounting problem, use 5 minute epoxy inside the wheel where it attaches to the hub. Its gonna be permanent! Apply a small amount of epoxy and set on the hub. Do all 4 wheels and set the model in position with all 4 wheels positioned to your liking. Hope this helps! - Walter |

thanks guys..i think im gonna use the corvette wheels..its bee a loott easier i think..but i think the reason they didnt look right was because the car sat to high..but i m gonna lower it and then there is a kit (kinda) that goes on it.. so i think it will be good
thanks again
