Super AVC-R

Owners of the Super AVC-R: Is this unit really worth it? The basis for this post is because I'm in need of a boost controller, but I wouldn't mind getting a fuel control and boost controller in one.

Question #1: Tuning: Is it a problem, truthfully? I've heard nightmare stories about tuning this unit. I'm not a beginner by far, but have never used self-learning modules like this.
Question #2: Has anyone had problems with the functions of it? I'm talking about trying to tune the fuel delivery. That concerns me the most because I'm running 9psi daily.

Thanks in advance...

I am interested to hear people's resonses to this as well. I plan on getting this unit at one point. You brought up some good questions.

Thumbs up

i bought the avc-r boost controller for 350 from some guy off the net...works fine....im kinda nervous to tune it myself......i just put my greddy turbo in and running6-8 pounds of boost for now so i really havent tuned it ....but as soon as i get a higher flow fuel pump and clips for my 2 extra injectors ill be tuning it for about 10 pounds daily with great fuel management on my EX.....buying a vtec controller is good along with it cuz u can fix your fuel curve and vtec kick in curve at the same time...and plus having those two little blue apexi boxes look cool!...haha:alien2:
