help with dipstick tube

hello to all

I need advice on the best way to get a broken dipstick tube out of 305 V8 engine.

I"ve tried to pull it out but does not seem to want to come out , it does turn .

Is there there any thing else holding in ????

Most of them are held in with an O-ring. Over time the ring hardens and doesn't squish out like a fresh one. Put some vice grips on it and pull like mad.
