'52 GMC Butterscorched, by Foose!

Hi everyone.

Since my last post here (1 year ago, I guess) I really cannot finish any model in 2005.
But now I’m back to the model building with a unique vehicle, in my opinion.

Its about the ’52 GMC Pickup called Butterscorched, by Chipp Foose, (TV Show Overhaulin’ )

To do this model, I will use the AMT ’50 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup and AMT 1955 Chevrolet Nomad as a donor.

Please, sorry by the bad quality of the photos. I lost my camera and I’m taking pictures from my cellphone!

The first modification (and the most important I think) is the cut off of the Nomad’s front and then glue it into a 3100.
Here, I used a tape to delimit the cut line.

Then, cut off!

And here the new front glued.

I’m also writing this progress here: http://www.small-dreams.com/Forum/vi...er=asc&start=0
It’s a Brazilian Forum dedicated to the autos. Over there, this thread is a little more actualized than here, but obvious, it’s in Portuguese. If someone desires to see a little forward, please, check it out!

Who wants to know more about this ‘ 52 Butterscorched, please see: http://classictrucks.com/features/0603cl_52gmc/

More updates to come soon.

I loved that mod they did to that truck. I thought it was such a neat idea. Can't wait to see how it turns out in 1:25.
