Maybe if you would convince them to install Linux you wouldn't have such troubles?

nah, its ok... IT have been looking into the blue screen problems for months, its also because on my profile I have access to a lot more applications that most others don't which slows it down.

Good old BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) - I haven't seen one in years since I swapped from Win95/98 and went to Windows 2000 and the Windows XP.

That and started building my own 'puters - real hardware = win

BTW Oz - Linix is sweet - if you have the time to set it up or if you are a geek I used to have a linux box, but work/life/SiR got in the way of getting it to run

Oh - and those doors - they are worth about another 150 kilos in weight due to all the reinforcing that goes into the car Seen it before in a CRX - nothing new Nice idea, but.... yuck Give me factory doors anytime

Actually - I see exactly what Q is saying. If you open my hissy fit thread (TM) then scroll down to moppies 2nd response - it then has Oz's response under - the page continues to load (at approximately 10kb/s according to my network), but the page then fails to respond.

I fired up task manager to kill it (thank god for Win 2K/XP and it not crashing the entire system out) and when I kill the "not responding" task, I see moppie's mass spam response and then nothing else even though Q is supposed to be the last poster.

The page then freezes and I have to kill IE completely with task manager, then restart IE.

Very strange.

Umm..mate. Your talking to uber nerd. I have 2 linux boxes. One Mandrake, the other Red Hat. I use one mainly as an MP3 server for my cobbled together sound system in my room, the other is a box I keep at school (special permission) so I can compile shit in Software Design and Development. hehe. I've been running it for years.
