Question haven't started 95 camaro in 6 months, how should i prepare the engine

Hi, i want to get my camaro running again, i just bought a new alternator and battery, however, it's been sitting in the garage for 6 months, do i need to drain the gas tank, change the oil and filter, put a little water in the radiator, please help! just need some general advise on the best way to get it going, without wrecking the engine.

Just make sure it has oil and coolent in it and you'll be fine, six months is wont hurt anything.

Yep. I might change the oil and filter first, but 6 months on a roller-cammed engine won't kill anything.

I might fill the tank with fresh gas asap, but no worries.
