Your options are as follows...
JWT or Stillen Pop Charger, which is basically a large cone filter and a special adapter that attaches it to the MAF and allows for smooth airflow into it. Pop charger... ![]() There are no traditional "intakes" for the 2000+ cars. Meaning there is no company which makes a pipe that goes from the throttle body to the MAF w/ a filter on the end. Weapon-R did make one for the 99's but they will not fit the 2000+ cars. Hotshot and Stillen make cold air intakes for the 2000+ cars. The Stillen one is not a full intake, it starts at the MAF so the stock rubber piping before the MAF is still used. Stillen cold air intake.. ![]() The HotShot cold air intake is a full intake, meaning that unlike the Stillen, the Hotshot replaces the rubber piping going to the throttle body in addition to the cold air part. Unless you want a cold air intake, go with the JWT or Stillen POP Chargers. They provide 3-4hp at the wheels just like any other intake.. |

why is that?
-less HP? -slower off the line? -or the fact that you have one more intake available? which is made by weapon-r none the less, haha! |

well...actually, doesnt matter what year G20 you get..u gots to admit..its slow...hehe, but hey it's a nice looker and handles nice...as far as making it, it's all up to how serious you are about it right? because if you are willing to take the risk, spend the $$$ and put in time and effort, the G can actually become a VERY nice track/drag car

lol... I think you're mixing something up.
P11 G20's weigh between 2900 and 3000 pounds. there's no way your car could weigh an extra 1000 pounds. having an extra 1000 lbs is like have 5 or 6 adults in your car... IT WOULDNT MOVE! |

gino850: I think that number on the door sticker is for a FULLY laden car. Full complemnt of passangers and fully loaded trunk with a full tank of gas. Also the towing rating is at 1000lbs too. But your car, as it's probably sitting in the driveway right now, with a full tank of gas and nobody, and no cargo weighs about 2900-3000lbs.
