Unhappy 94 Nissan Exhaust ????

i recently had an aftermarket exhaust (not factory) pipes manually bent (set up is the same as factory)... i also had the clutch replaced by dealer....

now i notice after it heats up the clutch begins to slip...

i think it is from the exxhaust heating up the trans/clutch... since i do not have any of the factory heat sheilds on the exhaust....

i am unsure but the clutch works like new until it gets hot then also the floor board where my feet are is hot as hell also.. (exhaust passes under my floor board and trans/clutch)

dealer wants like $250 for these tin heat sheilds for the exhaust.. it seems like ann awful lot for a simple piece of molded metal...

since it is exxhaust it is difficult to find at a Junk Yard since they usually get trashed or are unremoveable...

any suggestions, maybe it is not the problem at all...

new to forum
thanx in advance

i have never heard of this problem before and i cant think why the heat would make the clutch slip
if i was you i would check your clutch cable ajustment to make sure your clutch plates are fully engaging each other and not sliping which would cause heat
like riding the clutch if you get me

why did you have the clutch replaced if it was slippinng before you probably have a bad slave cylnder or the clutch was installed improperly
