will rims from a 1998 Rodeo fit on a older 1997 rodeo?

Steve, I believe the bolt pattern is the same, but 1998+ rodeo's have 16" wheels & slightly different back spacing & offset. Too big a tire would probably rub on hard turns on the 1997. You'd really have to try it & see. G/luck
