How to paint 2 tone seats?

For most colours the way to do it is to spray the seat in the lighter colour first - lets say light gray. Then mask the areas u want to remain grey (Tamiya masking tape or a liquid mask are best for these - dont use cheap household masking tape for this!!!), then spray with the darker colour - say black.

Then remove the tape and there u will have two tone seats in a fetching black and grey leather trim!!!
