My Project Civic - What do you think?

www.clatecustoms.com/projecthome.html

Hey guys there is the site for my project. I will be showing how I brought it back to new condition. It will have some tutorials on it to help out people on here. If you guys have any questions let me know(you can use the comments page). I'm honestly looking to have it done in 2 weeks, but we will see. Hope you guys enjoy it.

P.S. Yes I know its plain right now, but I Just made it, and will be updating it daily. So check back frequently...

looks cool man. Just remember, if you exceed your time goal don't get discouraged, more time normally means more quality or you are low on cash, both apply to me often. Quality is better than just having it right away, do reseach and know what you are doing, just my .02 cents. Some people do not realize this, hint some of the rides u see day in and out.

Yeah I know what you mean. I know exactly how to do everything I will be doing other than the axle, but I will be using a helms when I do it, so that won't be a problem. But after all of this work, I'm most likely selling it and then finding something else. Most likely Honda related, but we will see.

yeah, I work at a performance shop down in Atlanta, building cars is fun and yes we have all the Helms manuels, bless them . once u are done with the Civic and possibly looking for some projects send me a pm or a line on AIM. I got some stuff that would blow your mind, lol. Only thing that sucks is you need the cash, but I am sure I could help you out on something.

Re: ur tail lights

Yes I did them myself, I used Testors candy apple red or something like that. I can't remember now since its been so long. For coats I remember doing a lot of them, just keep on spraying till you think there dark enough.

That's a really nice project civic.

BTW, when I did my tails, I painted them at night and just kept putting on more coats till the lights looked red. Otherwie you might end up painting them too dark and you won't be ablt to see them duringthe day.

Thanks a lot CXHatchback. Did you paint yours while they were on the car?

I'll make a tutorial on how I did mine, and I'll put it on my website, and if Jon wants to put it in the FAQ he can, just let me know..

Which performance shop in Atlanta do you work at? Have you heard of Mahdavi Motorsports? Anyway, that's where my friend takes his car. What kind of stuff do you do? I live in Savannah, so I might come up there and check you out!

Sure did, and I painted a set of clears half-red today while they were on the car. A little bit of newspaper and electrical tape and you're set!

Hey nemesis, he works at ETI Performance in Canton, GA. It's off Exit 14 on I-75. Mahdavi is a ripoff - they wanted a grand just to drop a b16 into my 97 civic coupe. They charge you outrageous prices.
