About To Buy A GRS, What do you think?

Well, i just bought my cousin 1999 eclipse gs that im gunna make into my show car, he sold it to me for $10,000. so right now he's looking for a gsr, he found a salvaged 1998 gsr for $7500, that damage isn't too bad, just to the front bumper and the hood, thats it, its a real easy fix,( a new bumper and hood would fix it, ill post a picture of it as soon as the guys sends it to my cousin, do you think he getting a good deal on that or no?

Shit, $7500 is a great deal. Just remember that if it's a salvage title that he is gonna have a hell of a time getting all the paperwork for it. Hopefully he's got the cash because the bank will NEVER loan out money if it's a salvage title. Good luck to him tho.

good luck getting it insured, you'll be lucky if you can find one that will insure a salvage.

oh, well the car was salvaged in illinios and my counsin lives in michigan, so they guy who owns the salvaged car now moved to michigan, does that make a difference bcuz it wasn't salvaged in michigan?

well sometimes you can switch then names, move some paperwork.. and if ya lose the title.. if you apply for a new one.. after the wreck you can pass it for clean .. if you don't mind...
