Re: Has anybody tried this stuff?

Since my previous post seems to be aimed at a brick wall, I'll even do the work for you guys.

http://www.milliput.co.uk/home.htm
http://www.ares-server.com/Ares/Ares...oduct&ID=81004

I'm sure it's the same stuff. Very popular with the figure and armor modelers, and I wonder why it hasn't caught on with the car guys just as much.

It's very good to work with, approximately a 2 hour working time and 24 hours to fully cure. For those that like to build body kits this is the stuff to get. You can smooth it all you want within the first hour or so to eliminate tedious sanding afterwards. It adheres well to styrene but it does come off in one piece if you pry it hard enough or twist the body.

$20/ lb. isn't bad, but is that 1lb. each part, or 1lb. total meaning .5lb. per part?

Re: Has anybody tried this stuff?

It sounds like Tamiya Epoxy Putty. I am using the Tamiya stuff at the moment and it is brilliant.
