Any experience with Fastbrakes?
I'm going to be swapping my engine, and figured a brake upgrade was in order. I know that Brembo and AEM big brake kits are standards. I was considering buying a Fastbrakes 11" kit for my Civic.
My question is that should I get a whole new system for the front brakes, or could I just get some larger rotors and new brake pads. Then convert the rear drums to disc brakes? Also has anyone had any experience with Fastbrakes kits, or know of any other brake upgrade alternatives? |

if you dont have rear disc's then i would suggest that before anything. expect to pay no more then 250 at the junkyard, if you do you didnt shop around enough.

Yeah, I've heard that the rear disc conversion should be my primary concern, but the junk yards around here are very limited in their supply of import cars.
But I thought that since the majority of the braking will be in the front of the car; that the front brakes play a primary role in braking, so they would need to be upgraded before the rear. |
