Help finding a fuse!

My windshield wipers just stopped working the other day on my 87 cherokee, and I'm thinking it's a blown fuse. I found all the fuses under the drivers side dash, but I can only find the rear wipers fuse, not the front wipers. Anyone know where I should look?

Thanks

Actually,

The front wipers are on a circuit breaker, not a fuse, which is located at the bottom of the fuse block found inside the Jeep by the clutch and/or brake pedal.

On the lower dash panel below the steering column is the control box for the wipers it is a couple of inches wide about 4 inches long and 1/2 inch thick, it will be black and velcro'ed to the panel (just feel til you find it) that is normally the most common problem with wipers.

My '87 had the same problem, and this is correct, it is below the fuses. On mine, the contacts had actually rusted off over the years...good luck!

That would be the module for the INTERMITTANT wiper system,it can be discoed but will not effect the wipers, you just won't have the intermittant part...If the module fails,I'm told it is a DEALER ONLY item
and we all know that means BIG $$$$$$$$

OK I am officially stoopid this post is the one I ment to qoute...What Gunny is talking about is the intermitant wiper module.Disco that and see if the front wipers work...Pulled mine and that was MY problem.
Now for the REAR WIPER...1st you gotta remove the inner panel on the back hatch there should be a relay to the left(looking at the hatch from
inside the vehicle)of the wiper motor...could also be the problem..got anybody who knows how to check the relay? If the relay is good, then more than likely the motor is toast...

Apologies to XJNICK
