Iac Valve/ Mass Airflow Sensor

I Have A 93 Pi And I Wanted To Know More About The Idle Air Control Valve. In The Mornings When I First Start My Car It Will Idle Really Ruff. Even Stalling The On The First Attempt. Then It Usually Idles Ruff For About 10 Seconds Then I Hear The Engine Rev A Bit Then Slow Down And Idle Fine. Now Can This Be My Problem? I Also Heard That Cleaning The Maf Sensor Is Good. But I Dont Have Any Engine Mods Like A K&n Filter Or Intake So I Dont Know What The Problem Could Be. Now This Only Happens When The Car Sits For A Bit Like Over Night. It Also Takes About 2 Miles To Get It To Run With Normal Power. It Seems To Be Very Sluggish Until It Warms Up A Bit. What Could This Be??? Thanks Guys

Re: Iac Valve/ Mass Airflow Sensor

It can be the idle speed control valve. it can also be the coolant temperature sensor. If it is the IAC, yours is located in a bitch of a place to replace. I answered you i another post.http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=403241
