Doing B18 Swap Soon!

Ok here is whats happening. My friends 92 civic's timing chain skiped and bent a valve.

I just got a 91 integra with everything we need. Is there any problems were going to run into besides basic wireing and the tranny is cable of course but i found a conversion cheap.

I just got done with a b18 swap into my 89 DX civic so i am pretty familer with the motor.

Thanks

Re: Doing B18 Swap Soon!

imo. its not worth the money, you best bet is to find another d16z6 if you wanna stay cheap, by the time you buy the conversion harness etc. you could have swapped in a d16z6 and likly beat the b18a up. just my opinion though.

Werd^^ plus it's illegal to put a motor older than the car itself in and you won't pass emissions.

It doesn't matter if you have emissons or not. It against the law in the USA to put a motor into a car that is OLDER than the Chassis. You live in Kansas, Kansas is IN the USA. A 91 Teg B18A is OLDER than a 92 Civic chassis. Therefor, it is illegel to put it in your car.

BTW, 92 civic's had timing belts, not timing chains.
