Street Racing - Dangerous business
Last friday I took my Max out to Virginia Beach lookin for some races, already my first mistake since there seems to be a cop on every corner out there. I went with my girl and 2 of my friends, they rode in a 91 mercury tracer (laughable I know), and I caught up with a 86-92 Mazda RX-7 non-turbo. Soon as we got to the light we started revving, we took off on green tires smoking ans squealing, now my Max is bone stock, automatic, 97 GLE, yet I took him. Feeling confident, we started revving again at the next light, then my friend pulled up in the lane to my left, revving as well. I looked at the guy in the Mazda next to me to point at my buddy laughing, and he motioned with his head behind him, and I half shit myself when I saw a squad car jus sitting there behind him in traffic. So when it turns green, everyone jus looks at each other waitin for the other to go, so finally my friend starts to go, then me, the the mazda, then the squad car kicks on his lights. Immediately the RX-7 takes off, and im thinking the cop will come after me now, so I take off as well, and I hit the first left turn hoping the cop wont follow me. he doesnt. But the mazda gets pulled about 2 miles down the road, so me and my friend pull over, very shooken up. So i cooled it for a little bit, then took an escort ZX2 and in Integra! :ylsuper ....anyways thats my story and to let yall kno, what you do, is in view of everyone else, watch yourself and choose your stoplight gran prix's wisely.
