getting the hang of Automotive Forums

Hi. Just trying out this site for the first time. Looks like there are lots of nice cars and polite people. Nice 'Stang by the way!
Although I wouldn't want to pay to keep it in 'petrol'.

Yes, I put the hood locks on it. Pretty straight forward job. I have had stupid people(non car people) ask why in the hell I would have locks on my hood. Stupid people piss me off

nycMGfan,

My car gets back and forth to work a little over 20mpg, highway 25-26mpg. Really not that bad. Nice to have you on board.

Exactly my thought when I moved to USA. The roads in Finland are much better. If they are even worse in UK than USA...

Depends on where you go in the States. In the best ran city in the world(Phoenix) the roads are pretty nice, comparing them to the ones in Ok, Ms, Ga, La, and Al.

I guess its where you are at.

There isn't that much difference to say that the roads in USA are not bad. If been in all of west coast and most of east coast, TX where I currently live, OK, CO, ID, WY, UT, AZ,...

How much better are the roads in Finland?

BTW nice Mustang, noticed you got the '98 Cobra rims on the right front and '95 R rims on the rest, did you bend the rim or something? How often do you see other mustangs on the road?

Compared to US, a lot better. US roads are wider but a lot bumpier, not to mention the built style and material. Slick and reminds riding in a train, du-dump-du-dump-du-dump...

You might see some bad roads in northern Finland but that is due to weather. When the gorund freezes in the winter and then melts in summer, that creates bumps and cracks, but they are fixed quite often (meaning brand new asphalt to play with...).

Actually KevlarMKIV,

Both the front rims are '98s. When I first got the car it would trammel really bad with 255/40 Yokahomas on the front. I was messing around with my Eliminator by putting the 98s on it with 245/45 Gatorbacks, but it did not look right, so I through 2 of the 98s on front of the Stang to see how it would handle, and the trammeling went away completely.

Might I add, good catch.
