floppy ashtray door

yo i'm on a shopping spree from 50resto and i'm about to plunk down for the mavromount ashtray repair kit. the long skinny pastic peice is broken off of my ashtray lid, am i going to have to get a new lid or will this kit take care of that?

You don't need a new lid for the kit.

From what I remember, the kit replaces the "little plastic thingy".
