Do you know the story about the kidnapping/murder that involves a VR4?

I heard about this story when I bought my VR4 (2 years ago this month) and just now remembered it, so I'm telling it to you guys

Some guy with a name I don't care to try to remember to spell, Kidnapped a Des Moines, Iowa woman (des moines is 1.5 hours from me) in 1995 and drove her through nebraska (he then shot and killed her in nebraska, and dumped her body) then proceded to drive into Wyoming.

(now this is where I'm kind of pissed off) A state trooper was driving on 80 east when he saw "a young guy in a fancy sports car" and he thought it was out of place, so he turned around and followed the guy, and pulled him over. (i'm 24 and drive a vr4, am I going to get pulled over??? stupid cops)

what'd kind of funny, is that the guy who stole the vehicle told the cop that he paid for the car with a $2,000 check. HA! A $35k vehicle sold for $2000, yeah right.

Then the cops found out about his post on 3si and it was exactly how this murder was commited? Or is this a completely different murder involving a 3S?

I heard about that one one too. Eric Lotter actually had to go to court because of that post. That right there is part of the reason 3si doesnt allow free email when you sign up.
