AFCO universal radiator upgrade completed
Well I got it in. It took a little fab work but it's in there. This is an AFCO radiator 19 X 31 (AFC 80102FN) I bought off of ebay for $180.00 since then I have found this radiator at a few other places online for about the same money. First things first I am very impressed at the quality of this radiator and frankly after looking at a couple of griffens and fluidynes I don't think this one can be beat for the price.
![]() ![]() As you can see there is a huge difference between this one and the stock. ![]() Before ![]() After ![]() ![]() Now if anybody noticed the battery had to be relocated to the trunk to make room for the resivour. Also I pulled the AC. Why well in three years I've rarely even reached for it, its a convertable. Plus it never worked all that well anyway. The 19 X 31 radiator is huge compared to stock so if you have a similar set up and you wanna retain your AC you might wanna look into getting the next step down in size. I believe its 19 X 26. The larger size unit will fit between the frame but the lines to the condensor become an issue. I have an after market temp guage and when Im getting on it im usually running about 210 degrees. Now its about 180 if im on it. Normal driving and its about 10 degrees cooler. By the way the resivour is a $12.00 part form the local Parts America. Now the true test will be this summer, but the way its running now im not even worried about it.

Looks good and from the looks of the radiator a good deal too.
