Replacing tranny...which has LSD?
I have a P10 and the 5th gear pop-out suituation if just really pissing me off now. It slips pretty much all the time now. Grrr! Anyway I thought of just fixing 5th, but then I figure i might as well go with a whole new tranny and get one with an LSD. My question is do all 2.0 liter sentras have LSDs? How about 200sx's ? I did a search, but came up with nothing helpful. Thanks

Since the axles are different between the NX/Sentra and the G20, why not try to find a used/new P10 G20 LSD tranny/axles instead. That would make things a lot easier.
Also, I had always been under the assumption that the P10's never had the famous 5th gear syndrome. It was only certain "Nissan" badged SR20's.

Well, i would go with a p10 tranny but i've heard (http://www.se-r-list.org/fifth.gear.phtml) that they(nissan) fixed the problem on the fifth gear sometime in the later trannies. I just don't want to buy another tranny will this problem will pop-up or rather pop-out again. That's alot of money and stuff. Apparently it's not just a nissan badged problem
