For my daily driver while i work on my S13 silvia conversion i have a 1994 3.8L mustang. Im not crazy about the car and i dont even really like it, To skip to the point at this website
http://www.3.8mustang.com/multimedia/ Under the other's there is a stock 1995 with open headers.... I think this sounds really cool and i was wondering what open headers actually is ??? This question probably makes me look like a looser but i really have no clue help please.......

Re: Open Headers
That would mean nothing is attached to the headers ho y pipeor h pipe for the 3.8l. To help u in the import side it would mean no downpipe so there is not downpipe or catback. Hope that helps.

Re: Open Headers
you're exhaust valves will fry themselves if your heads are stock. you'll hear kind of a bang and it'll quit running right till you rebuild the heads. gotta have backpressure to keep scavenging within the limits of the exhaust valves
