Finished, Nearly! Ferrari 642 Hasegawa
I decided to get cracked on and try to finish a model, this took about 3 weeks working most nights to get this far, the right hand side is finished and needs attaching. I just need to paint the front shocks and put the AGIP decals on the rear wing and she's done.
The entire monocoque is covered in carbon and I tried flocking for the first time to texture the seat, I also added some SMS belts as the kit had a simple moulded seat. The body fit is not great but I'm hoping this improves when I put the other side on. I also tried adding some plug leads and like the way it came out, I'll definitely do this again. Hopefully finishing this one gets me to finish some more instead of just starting them and putting them away!!! Comments always welcomed. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hi,
very good job so far, you did lots of extra-detailling that was worth the efforts. Put some colours of heated metal over the exhaust-system, that makes the model more real. Micha |
