Cadillac CTS (Love it/Hate it?)

The new Cadillac CTS...opinions?

http://www.supercars.net/cars/2003@$Cadillac@$CTS.html

that thing's uglier than the aztec. what's with GM's design teams? it has no luxurious, elegant lines to it whatsoever. underneath may be a different story but i'm far from impressed by its looks. especially the tail end. i'm not a big fan of lincoln's ls but i'd rather be seen in it than the CTS.

Thumbs up

I like the looks of it. Well not really, but I like it better than most cars looks. It's refreashing IMHO. I'll vomit if I see another Accord, Camry etc. Besides the looks, I love it. Most reviewers agree it has great engineering. It's a fun one.

Underneath...it has 220HP V6 RWD...nothing spectacular. And add in the weight of the car and all the luxurious stuff in it...it's probably a slow POS

I dont think it looks all that bad. Its nowhere as bad as the Azcrap (as said earlier), but GM sure does have some issues in the styling department.

Its a step in the right direction for caddillac in terms of styling and performance. The CTS can hang with any euro sport sedan (of similar pricing).

Its a very nice car, looked at one the other day, fast, and very
sporty for a Cadillac. Its got to be about the best they have made
so far, for the money.

It's an all around good car, but GM just isn't making the best looking cars these days including the CTS.

I personally like the Ext. Styling, but of course in this
market segment, i dont believe i would be purchasing anything but a Bavarian Auto

I personally like the way it looks, but i don't like the specs.....yet.......next year, or the year after they are gonna put way more horses under the hood....and i mean way more...they might even offer a huge V8....like 5.8L or something........and with the comments about GM's styling.....just wait until next year, or the year after...they are redesigning a lot of their cars, such as the Grand Am, Grand Prix, Bonneville, Sunfire, Cavalier, etc....giving them more power, and better looks. Also, they are introducing alot of nice, nice new cars, like the Solstice, or something like that...can't quite remember the name right now...
