Question Honda F20b Supercharge??

My accord coupe, has the engine code of f20b stamped on the vin plate. I have been looking for the compresion ratio for this engine as I am considering a supercharge conversion. I have found the f20a to have 9.5:1 is this identical ( As I obviously cannot take the ratio over 12:1 or the engine will deisel and knock). any idea if 10 psi of boost ill keep the ratio low enough???

Re: Honda F20b Supercharge??

You might have better responses if you put this in the forced induction forum.

If you want to run pump gas, you better stay waaay under 12:1. I'm considering a turbo on an 8.5:1 V8 and I can probably go about 7 psi on pump gas. That's iron heads; your aluminum heads should allow for about another half a point of compression for 9.0:1

Some of the "blown" guys hang out over here too, but if you don't get specific responses, try moving it to the other forum.
