In progress by AFers

I've come to understand that there are many people like me, in that we just can't stop buying models faster that we can build them. So here post all the cars in your house that are in progress, it doesn't matter how long its been since you worked on it. For example a Revell Integra that you stopped working on 18 months ago because you messed up the paint, post it!. Also tell us what you've bought just for parting out, so we know what parts we can try and scam out of each other... haha.

Here are mine

1. Revell Civic Si- Hot Compacts and Imports 650HP Turbo B18C5 Replica - ?
2. Tamiya Ferrari Enzo Ferrari - Italian Red
3. Tamiya Porsche 911 GT2 Clubsport (993) - Chrome Yellow
4. UT Models Opel Calibra V6 (DTM) - Yellow/Orange/White
5. Tamiya Honda Fit/Jazz- Revell Focus EVO Style Bodykit - Plasticote Hot Rod Green

14. Yohan Rambler Ambassador- Chopped, Sectioned, Subframed, Ford 390 - ?
15. Revell Ford Focus (Fucus for us Mischeif Fans) OOB - pearl Black
16. ESCI Mercedes Benz 190E 2.3/16V- Turbo - Suggestions Please
17. Revell 1978 Chevy El Camino- OOB Turbo - Suggestions Please
18. Revell VW Golf II GTi- Rebuild - Was Black
19. Revell Datsun 510- Rebuld Motor Ideas Please- Was Orange

There are 12 models on my complete shelf, not counting the rebuilds. I began modles when my parents separated which was the third week of summer 2003. Also thanks to everyone here, at AF i build car models to get my mind of my parents brutal divorce, which took like 18 months it was final last friday. So thanks for the support you didn't know you were giving. Keep Modeling!!!!!!!!!

99 Ford SVT Cobra
02 Chevy SS 35th anniversery eddition

The Chevy needs a new paint job, some filling, sanding, and a lot more. the cobra just needs some work with the engine, underbody, and suspension. Oh, and the windsheild. Other than that, she's done. The 3-tone paint looks perfect. I'll post up some pic when we get the new camera software loaded up into the computer. the new camera has MACRO!! woot!

Wow, you guys have a lot of projects. I only have two right now:

Incomplete (For years):
Tamiya Focus WRC. Why? Because I finally got a perfect paintjob with primer and everything for the first time, then I accidentally dripped paint onto the decal sheet and ruined everything. Then I gave up. When I moved, I busted the Focus' wheels in process. I guess it can be fixed.

Current:
Fujimi 500SL. Nothing done. Except I've glued some custom wide wheel arches on. Epoxy putty going on soon.

Secret confessions...
When builders become collectors.
Chapter one...

Tamiya Nissan 300ZX Vert.: (progress thread) Still working on it.
Revell Lambo Diablo Roadster: (progress thread) been back in the box for a while, back after the Z gets finished, so, soon.
Revell New Beetle Custom: (another progress thread) I got stuck threading the belts and was just tired of fiddling with it.

Those are my active projects. Down to three from the five I had a few months ago, and I did'nt buy any more kits. I guess I've gained on the pile of kits in the closet.

More started than I can count, more stacked around than I care to count. Its not a problem, I can quit anytime. LOL
