? about mail trucks in japan

Hey,

I just recieved the new fujimi midget mail truck. Is this a fictional truck fujimi made, or is this acctually in use in japan? http://www.fujimimokei.com/prod_syosai/midget2.html I would like to detail the cargo section in the rear. Does anyone on here from japan have any knowledge or pics of how the mail is set up in there? Like, is it just thrown back there in bundles, or is it set up neatly in racks and bins. My one idea wat to get tiny dollhouse burlap sacks and toss them back there. Any help advice or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Frank X.

Looks like something they would use for mail. Those small 'kei' cars i think there called. I dont see why it wouldnt be real.

In Korea, these vehicles are used for many delivery services, including mail, food, and most any short distance light delivery. they were really fun to drive (like little go carts). My guess is that they were designed to fit down the narrow passages between the houses/buildings as there is not much room for public transit from door to door.

Re: ? about mail trucks in japan

I don't think Midget is used by the Japanese postal service, but usually, they use red or white kei vans.
I couldn't think of any better key word, but you can get some ideas from the toys shown in the link below.
