I believe they have a governor so If I were to guess, stock, about 98-100. Not too sure how much if you were to remove the governor though.

When you do, tell us when the govenor cuts it out. B/C I want to know how fast my GP will go before the gov. kicks in. I imagine that the 97+ pontiacs are set up the same.

for my 2000 SSEi the govenor kicked-in at 199 KM/hour - translation 130 MPH...I could of sworn I was still accelerating though. Could it be that the speedometer display just stops at this speed? It sure was accelarating nicely right up to 199 anyway - and I was going up a rather steep incline too!! What an exilaration!! Oh and it was solid as a rock at that speed - like a suckion cup on the road - SSEi's ROCK!!!!!
