Royal Purple
Has anyone heard of royal purple fluids? i have heard nothing but good things about it and that it is what alot of racers use. i have always used Mobil-1 Syntec for all my vehicles and it seems to work fine, but for a motor such as a high revving b series i was wondering if royal purple would be a better choice for everything including trans., radiator, brake, etc.

Re: Royal Purple
Great stuff. You'll probably get a lot of replies saying Amsoil is better, but it depends on how much you know about oil. Do yourself a favor and do your own research on oil and how long it should stay in your car before changing it.
www.blackstone-labs.com used to be a good source for the straight scoop. They've taken some of their tech off the site, but its still a good start. The longest oil can stay in the engine is basically when the first parameter meets its limit. With some cars that means you can run natural (dinosaur) oil for 10,000 miles before the additive package is exhausted or the pH reaches the limit. It may also mean that the best synthetic oil may only last 2000 miles in a poorly running engine. You'll never know unless you test it.
