quick question about starters

I need to make the wires from my battery to my starter longer, what would I use to do that? 10 gauge wire?

Re: quick question about starters

WAAAY bigger. If you're doubling the length, add 50% more cross sectional area - at least.

Your factory wire is probably a 2 gauge, so if you're going longer, think 1 gauge or 1/0.
