1994 grand Cherokee 5.2L camshaft swap
I was thinking about rebuilding my 5.2L 318 small block, and going with a few preformence parts. Push rods, Lifters, Rocker arms & a Camshaft. Now the camshaft I'm interested in is rated at basic operating range of 1000-4500RPM. Qwestion is if this camshaft would be safe to use on a daily driver? Why or Why not? Thanks - Matt

Moved to correct forum.
The rating on your new cam, 1000-4500 IMO would be fine for a daily driver. The rpm ratings are to help distinguish between race cams and non-race cams. Race cams would go, for example, from 2500-7000 rpm. You can always check with your supplier to verify.
