clear coat over decals?

I am still working on the WRX sti. Does the clearcoat go OVER the decals? I am using tamiya paints/clear. Will it melt the decals? Also, do I polish the clear once it's dried?
Thanks!

Michael

The clear goes over the decals when finished. Just be very carefull, i've heard to many horror stories about how decals melt. Myself...i never bother, if the paint finish looks really good just leave it IMO.

You polish the clear after letting it dry for a week or two...same as paint
