Rims and tires...

What are the widest rims and tires you can fit on a P10? The stock rims are too small for my tastes so I want to size them up. Can I fit some 225's on some 17 or 18 inch rims all around? Also, what offest is best for our cars? Don't we have a similar steup to Honda Civics? If so, then there are lots of rims for me to choose from. Thanks for any help!

You have quite a few choices b/c we do have the same bolt pattern as a civic(4 lug close). I got my last set of rims off of a Honda CRX. Tires-you probably want to go with a 205/40/ZR17 or 215" ". Top of the line tires include Toyo and Nitto. Might want to check out www.wheelmax.com b/c they have a variety to choose from and good pricing.
As far as widest tire-I'd use 17-7 or 7.5.

Take a look at the wheel page on G20.net (http://www.g20.net/mod_wheels.html). That will give you not only the size of the stock tires (including sidewall height, width, rim width, etc) but also compares the different tire size options and how they affect gearing and speedometer error.

would 215/60/14 fit on the stock rims? tire rack sells michelin pilots in that size for $93 each..has anyone ever tried this size on stock wheels?

We do not have the same size bolt pattern as the Civic. We do share a bolt pattern with some Accords.

The Civic bolt pattern is 4x100 (same as the Sentra SE-R).

The G20 bolt pattern is 4x114 point something.
