2003 GT: Bolted Battery?

I'm trying to replace the headlights with aftermarket ones and to get to the driver side bulb, i need to move the battery. I disconnected it and tried to pick it up and it wouldn't budge. I was wondering, is the battery bolted down? If so, where is it bolted down at and how can i get to them?

There should be a little plastic wedge down the side of the battery that screws into the fender through the battery box. It should be an 8mm.

Re: 2003 GT: Bolted Battery?

Ya know, in the manual sez to remove the 2 pins on the top of the headlight, they're just behind the front brace. They look like a tent-peg sorta, with a bent over tab at the top. Pull straight up and slide the whole assembly out the front... you don't have to rem the battery.

Word of caution, fire some water under the bottom edge of the light assembly or put a rag over your bumper, there's a lot of road grit that gets under there and could scratch the bumper.
